AU: More than 100,000 UWA students’ data may be compromised after laptop thefts

More than 100,000 former University of WA students were today alerted their personal data may have been compromised after thieves stole 20 laptops from an administration building.

The message from vice-chancellor Dawn Freshwater said the password-protected laptops were stolen in late June and police had been investigating since then.
